Call or email us to schedule a visit for us to look over the area, to understand the size, thickness of brush and scope of work. Within 3-5 business days we will provide an estimate. Once accepted in writing, we will schedule a start date.
On the start date we will arrive with 30-50 goats, dependent on scope. A single goat can eat 2-5 lbs of brush/ vegetation per day.
A trail will first be cut then a portable electric fence will be setup to keep the goats in the defined area. We will then unload the goats and the feeding frenzy of natural brush clearing will begin!!!
An outlet and faucet nearby is needed. The outlet will support the fence charger and water is needed for the goats. If this is a remote area, let us know so that we can discuss options for both.
It can take a day or up to a week or two, for the goats to clear an area dependent on area size and thickness of brush. We will cut any stems and shoots the goats do not eat. Our services do not require permitting as the topsoil is not disturbed.
We will protect and avoid plants in the rhododendron genus like azaleas, which are poisonous to goats, and any others you want kept. We will cut any stems and shoots the goats do not eat. Our goats can take care of most common Washington overgrowth and plants you want cleared. This includes (but not limited to): blackberries, ivy, tall grass, salmon berries and poison oak and ivy.
Licensed, bonded and insured and ready to serve you!
